Baustelle - Amen

"Sarebbe splendido. Amare veramente. Riuscire a farcela. E non pentirsi mai. Non è impossibile pensare un altro mondo.
Durante notti di paura e di dolore. Assomigliare a lucertole nel sole. Amare come Dio. Usarne le parole. Sarebbe comodo. Andarsene per sempre. Anda
rsene da qui. Andarsene così. "

Amen.

Brani migliori : Alfredo, Il Liberismo Ha i Giorni Contati, Colombo, Panico, Andarsene Così.

Forever Young

Scrivo ancora scosso. Scrivo dopo una notte tranquilla. Dall'altra parte dell'oceano, di là in America ieri sera è morto Heath Ledger. E io l'ho saputo appena sveglio. A me delle dinamiche poco importa.

LAY DOWN YOUR WEARY TUNE
words and music Bob Dylan

Lay down your weary tune, lay down,
Lay down the song you strum,
And rest yourself 'neath the strength of strings
No voice can hope to hum.

Struck by the sounds before the sun,
I knew the night had gone.
The morning breeze like a bugle blew
Against the drums of dawn.
Lay down your weary tune, lay down,
Lay down the song you strum,
And rest yourself 'neath the strength of strings
No voice can hope to hum.

The ocean wild like an organ played,
The seaweed's wove its strands.
The crashin' waves like cymbals clashed
Against the rocks and sands.
Lay down your weary tune, lay down,
Lay down the song you strum,
And rest yourself 'neath the strength of strings
No voice can hope to hum.

I stood unwound beneath the skies
And clouds unbound by laws.
The cryin' rain like a trumpet sang
And asked for no applause.
Lay down your weary tune, lay down,
Lay down the song you strum,
And rest yourself 'neath the strength of strings
No voice can hope to hum.

The last of leaves fell from the trees
And clung to a new love's breast.
The branches bare like a banjo played
To the winds that listened best.

I gazed down in the river's mirror
And watched its winding strum.
The water smooth ran like a hymn
And like a harp did hum.
Lay down your weary tune, lay down,
Lay down the song you strum,
And rest yourself 'neath the strength of strings
No voice can hope to hum.

Kathleen Edwards - Back To Me

Back To Me, la title track è una sferzata di energia " I've got lights you've never seen / I've got moves I've never used / I've got ways to make you come back to me ", ben diversa dalle più riflessive Pink Emerson Radio, Away o Copied Keys, che forse risentono molto di più degli echi di Ryan Adams e soci.

Brani da ascoltare: Summerlong, Back To Me, Pink Emerson Radio, Copied Keys

Un testo:
I know how to play this game
one, two, three and I'm safe
count real slow to five
you couldn't keep me around if you tried

I know how to beat the rage
of my tender age
touch me once in the hall
but don't look back and don't call

There are some things I can hardly say
You've got me feeling a brand new way
Please don't let this be summerlong

I used to play this game
in the middle lane
pass them all on the inside
and don't get caught in a lie

There are some things I can hardly say
You've got me feeling a brand new way
Please don't let this be summerlong
Cuz I want to stay

All the nights and wasted time
trying to get my head to change its mind
all the talk of what it could be
when it never was

There are some things I can hardly say
You've got me feeling a brand new way
Please don't let this be summerlong
Please don't let this be summerlong
Cuz I want to stay
